Serendipity Yoga Center for Health and Wellbeing was founded with you in mind. We make all of our classes affordable and at times that work for the majority of people. We are dedicated to serving our community and want you to come and experience the many benefits of yoga. We offer Adult Yoga, Prenatal, Core Yoga, Family Yoga and Couples Yoga. We have priced our classes so that you may sustain a regular yoga practice. The benefits of yoga are many and once you begin a regular practice, at least twice a week, you will begin to notice many changes not only in your body but in your whole being. I teach with the goal of having my students be able to do yoga on their own and come to class to learn and deepen their practice. The reason for this is a simple one: the dynamic of practicing yoga on your own allows you to go inward at your own pace and your experience will be different from when you are in class. By the same token, while in class you will receive instruction to practice asanas and learn new ones. You will receive alignments and adjustments that you wouldn’t be able to do by yourself that will benefit you not only in class but will help you when you do yoga on your own.

Yoga helps you on all levels. I have witnessed people with insomnia, chronic headaches, chronic neck and back pain and a whole host of other conditions improve dramatically just by sustaining a regular practice. In almost all cases (yes, it’s true), the chronic pains are dissolved and people have been freed from their cycles of pain and discomfort.

In my many years of teaching, I myself have gone through many transformations due to the practice of yoga and meditation. Until you actually begin the practice and sustain it, it is hard to believe that such a simple form of exercise can be so incredibly life-changing. I encourage you to come and try a class to experience it for yourself.

If you are pregnant, a prenatal class would make all the difference in your pregnancy pre and post-natal. For those of you that are athletic, the Serendipity Core class and our Adult Yoga classes would be ideal. Family Yoga is a fun way for your family to bond and enjoy yoga together. Our Couples Yoga is great too! It offers all the benefits of yoga x2!

The style of yoga that I teach allows you to reach into areas of deep-seated tension. We teach you how to release these areas with gentle yet profoundly effective yoga postures, guided relaxations, guided awareness and meditation. This style is great for all ages and abilities. Experienced or not, this style will certainly make a big difference in the quality of your life. Come and try a class soon and ask yourself this: How good can you allow yourself to feel?
